Nicola's passion for the beverage and hospitality industry was ignited as a young boy - his father had his own bar - so he knows the industry inside and out He began his career behind the bar at the age of 17, including gigs at bars and as a coffee connoisseur in one of the largest coffee importing companies in Great Britain. Returning to Italy, he spent five years with San Pellegrino, learning the Italian trade market. Today, as Head of Advocacy for Fratelli Branca, he has entered the world of Fernet-Branca, Carpano Antica, Punt e Mes, Brancamenta and caffè Borghetti. His role is to introduce as many believers as possible into the wonders of bitters and vermouth that Fratelli Branca offers. While visiting different markets around the world, Nicola leads the trade industry into the portfolio of Fratelli Branca with guided tasting seminars and masterclasses. One of the most rewarding and inspiring arts of the job he says? Sharing the story of Fratelli Branca. This has also given him an incredible trait: the gift to establish real connection with all different types of people. Nicola has worked as a brand ambassador for Fratelli Branca since 2010 and currently lives within the distillery in Milan - he lives and breathes Fernet-Branca! His passion and dedication to the values of the brand have continued to grow as he learns new things every day. He is involved in the production processes, research and discovering their history and roots. He enjoys Fernet-Branca in many ways whether it be with coffee, some hot water in the morning to lend an extra pep in the mornings (especially when he is traveling!). He also enjoys Fernet in cocktails, as it's his bitter of choice. When Nicola is not traveling to the U.S., the UK, the Nordic countries, Australia or China to work his key markets to spread the good word of Fratelli Branca, he enjoys watching American TV series and reading during down time. He also loves being a father to his 10 year-old son! Exploring new cultures, trying new food, surfing and relaxing at the beach are among his long list of hobbies.
